Here we have a fascinating hand carved Jacobean decorative wooden frieze  which has been repurposed during the mid- to late- Victorian era as a corner table. The panel displays some warping due to its age, but the carvings remain clear and precise. The panel has had a moulding inserted along the fold, and attached to a gate-leg Victorian corner base which has itself been hand-carved.
